The Law of Moses
The book you are about to read was first published as an entire article in the Day-Star, Extra, February 7, 1846. In the same paper, Hiram Edson and Franklin B. Hahn also shared this statement about The Law of Moses:
“We have prayerfully examined the subject presented by Brother Crosier is the light of God’s word, and are fully satisified it is meat in due season, and if properly examined and understood will settle many difficulties in the minds of many brethren at this time.” The Day-Star, Extra, February 7, 1846, Page 44
Several typographical errors have been corrected as per O.R.L. Crosier’s letter in relation to The Day-Star Extra article printing, in the Day-Star, March 14, 1847, pages 7-8. The article has also been reparagraphed for an easier read.
This article was also publicly endorsed by Ellen G. White in 1847, in a pamphlet entitled A Word to the “Little Flock.” This is what she wrote on April 21, 1847:
“I believe the Sanctuary, to be cleansed at the end of the 2300 days, is the New Jerusalem Temple, of which Christ is a minister. The Lord shew me in vision, more than one year ago, that Brother Crosier had the true light, on the cleansing of the Sanctuary, &c; and that it was His will, that Brother C. should write out the view which He gave us in the Day-Star, Extra, February 7, 1846. I feel fully authorized by the Lord, to recommend that Extra, to every saint.
I pray that these lines may prove a blessing to you, and all the dear children who may read them.” A Word to the “Little Flock.” Page 12
